"We went here for dinner, we sat inside on the floor which we chose, it was really atmospheric and authentic. We ordered the menu degustation which was €19 per person, they allowed us to share for 2 with our son. It came with 2 starters, hummus and pita and a salad then 2 mains of a chicken with couscous and then a pork dish. The first main.was a pastel with filling and we had forgotten to tell them my husband is a coeliac, they immediately changed this. Fantastic service. The food was an excellent taste and presentation. Personally I think we may have been better choosing a normal a la Carte meal as we could have had a different starter which would have suited us better. That's just a choice! I would definitely go back as it is very different to everything else about."

A good place to relax, sip hot green tea, and enjoy a sample of Moroccan cuisine. The whitewashed walls and blue wooden doors reminded me more of Tunisia than Morocco but cozy and friendly anyway. We sat to the right of the main entrance, at a nice looking but somehow inconvenient Moroccan tray table. They also have some tables outside (al fresco dining in January is definitely only for brave souls) and floor mats at the back (only for contortionists). The menu is brief and unpretentious. A few salads, tajines and couscous, three typical dishes , a couple of cream soups and that 's about it. The Sabila, a sort of juice burger patty served on a thick slice of baked butternut squash and topped with tomato and onion confit, was a pleasant surprise. The Tajín de Pollo con Higos y Miel and the Tajín de Pollo con Limón were both nice and well done but less than flavorful. Same for the Cuscús de Verduras and the Pastela. You get the impression the spices have been kept in kitchen and the flavors toned down to avoid scaring away casual diners. A final cup of green tea and almond pastries were pleasant enough. Overall, good if not excellent food, relaxing locale, friendly, unobtrusive service and great value.

We have now been to this Moroccan restaurant twice after recommendations from a friend. I loved it the moment I saw it for its authenticity both in the décor and the food. Stepping inside, you feel as if you are in an old restaurant in Marrakech. The food which we have tried so far is amazing; the falafel (soft and tasty inside), the humous, the tabuleh. But for me their best dish is the pastille or pastela, a flaky chicken pie with almonds, cooked as well as in Morocco and better than I have ever eaten outside the country. Also the mint tea and sweet pies (baklava) are wonderful. My husband tried the lamb tajin and was a bit disappointed as the meat was tough. However, everything else we tried was delicious. The price is great too. For the four of us it cost 84 euros and that included 3 courses, drinks and even a gin tonic on the house. We shall definitely be going back.
