From the moment I walked in the restaurant I could tell it was going to be a bad experience. My husband and I came in and all associates were just sitting around. No one greeted us when we walked in instead they gave us side eyes and a black girl walked up to the register as if we were bothering her. While we were waiting for our smoothies, a white woman walked in to place her order. The mixed girl who was at the the register was not paying attention while the lady placed her order so the lady had to repeat herself. The girl was also not wearing a mask so, the woman asked her if she could put one on because of the spike in Covid cases, the delta variant, and the fact that she has a 2 YO at home who cannot get the vaccine. The girl continues by saying she was vaccinated and the company says she doesn?t have to wear one then she proceeds to ask someone else to make the woman?s smoothie. Mind you, the mixed girl was the ONLY one not wearing a mask in the entire restaurant. As the woman and the associate were having the conversation, one of the associate?s friend decided to chime in by making jokes and antagonizing the woman. Excellent customer service brings in business. The associates seemed like they didn?t not want to work, the customers were inconveniencing them, and they carried on in conversation using profanity as if it was appropriate to have these conversations at work. WORST TROPICAL SMOOTHIE EXPERIENCE EVER! ??
