We have been today for lunch and it was good. We have tried so many times to go into this restaurant but it is usually fully booked. The restaurant is located in the city center of Vic near the major square (Plaça del Mercat). The entrance is a butcher shop so you can imagine that the quality of the raw material is very good because it comes directy from the shop. The restaurant it is on the first floor, they have stairs and an elevator. The food is traditional and very good, the menu is extense and all the dishes are elaborated. We have ordered the vegetal rissotto, caneloni, rabbit's skewer and as a dessert the cheese cake and the iogurt with vanilla ice cream. To drink we have ordered a Catalan red wine. The quality of the food and the service are very good. You can eat in a budget because is not expensive.

Tresona XXI is a restaurant located very near from Plaça Major (Main Square) in Vic, a city in the center of Catalonia. It is located in the first floor of a food homemade shop in the old town. I came here to eat a daily menu, which has an excellent rate quality/price, and it was very good. I ate homemade cured sausages as first dish (which you can buy in the food shop), a sausage with trinxat de la Cerdanya (a Catalan dish with vegetables and bacon) as second dish, and a selection of cheeses as dessert. I drank a red wine and a coffee. Very nice place and staff.

We went there because I was in the mood for a good sausage from Vic – and the village is famous for it. So the idea was that you can’t do anything wrong when you are in the mood for meat and go to a butcher. Unfortunately my sausage was not good at all (not bad either, but nothing special). The meat of my girlfriend was very greasy. But the worst thing was the French-fries. It was greasy, slack not well-done. But the reaction of the stuff (after we complained) was great. They offered us more (good) pieces of meat – which we refused because we were full.

The place is locates right next to the Vic main square. It is a very old and traditional butcher where they sell high quality catalan sausages. Also they have a restaurant where they serve traditional catalan cuisine. Staff is good and the restaurant, despite being not so big...is charming. The menu is very good for the price paid.
