Trelawny's - Reservar uma mesa

Unfortunately, this place is closed. I spoke to the owners, they said they would open again in Patchogue. As IDK. I only leave this review because I put some efforts into it. Montauk Rd. in Shirley NY is not the place you think of when you want authentic Jamaican cuisine. Trelawny's seems a breath of fresh air in a fast food/strip mall area. Only a 1/4 mile of the main tractor (William Floyd Parkway) there is a new alternative in a food desert area. Wow, what a taste and welcoming service. The owners are real people who open a restaurant that refuses to compromise on the authenticity and freshness of their foods. My favorite is the Jerk Chicken. The cattle patties are also great. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu. My only word of caution is that it is too easy to miss this place, and some more care should be put in the promotion that a restaurant even exists in this strip-mall.

I loved everything about this place. The person who owns it was proud of her food and it made me very excited to try it when it came out, it was amazing and so worth the attempt. Only the thing was that it alittle to make call when you are disappointed in a rush of winemakers.

I love this place, the food is made fresh to order, the company is good and what more can I say. they are even ready to offer monthly specials that I cannot wait!!! Congratulations again!!!

Great tasting food, I love their oxtails. I just wish that they would put a little more food in their large orders

The food was okay, but the service and the people who work here are amazing and so sweet. I took my time there.
