Have been coming to Cambrils for 16 years and now live here. This restaurant has the best location but the worst food. Lovely waiter, lovely door staff. I ordered the pork with pepper sauce, it arrived over cooked, tough as leather and no sauce, the sauce arrived 10-15 minutes later, inedible as cold. Partners dish was adequate, but he would not be willing to return to this restaurant, friend ordered cannoloni and chips, cannolli was very dry and chips arrived as she was finishing her dish. Our lovely attentive waiter had the sence not to ask how our meal was, but instead offered us complimentary deserts, we declined, but 3 arrived, they were fine. Lots of very good restaurants in Cambrils like Las Palmeras, or restaurant d'al italiano, avoid Trastevere
Waited a full hour for our food, other customers that had arrived well after had got there food before us (starters and main courses). We had ordered two plain pasta dishes! 40 minutes after ordering the waiter approached us and tried to explain there was no tagliatelle pasta left that only spaghetti was available, at this stage she said 2 minutes when in fact we waiting another 20 minutes! When leaving we handed the bill to the front of house staff as there was no waiters to be seen on the floor! He grabbed the receipt and cash from us and walked away after we had both thanked him! Extremely rude!
We had a family meal, three under 11 years. Two of our group had nut allergies, the waiter and witnesses were very helpful. They provide an allergies menu and were knowledge about the ingretients. They removed the stress of eating out with allergies abroad. The food was also excellent. If we can we will come back again before our trip is finished, no greater compliment.
