I had heard great things about this fish and chip shop but had not visited until last week. The staff were very friendly and I must say, the fish was outstanding. I have never seen such a large, fresh piece of rockfish before. It was the best fish and chips I have ever had, and I have tried many seaside places. The quality of their chips was also very good. You can dine in at the restaurant as well. When I walked in, I mentioned that I had heard their fish was the best. The staff confirmed this and even brought out a tray of fresh fish to show me just how fresh it was. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back for more rockfish soon. Maybe I will try dining in next time. Overall, the fresh fish and chips were amazing. We did not dine in this time, but I would like to another time.

I have been to this restaurant before and received good service, so when we were hungry after a visit to the theatre on Friday, we decided to get some chips. However, despite there still being some customers in the restaurant, we were informed that they only had pie or fish available, not chips. In the past, a traditional fish and chip shop would have fried up a batch for customers to enjoy while they waited.

The traditional fish and chips at this restaurant are delicious. Although nothing particularly stands out, the establishment has been around for a long time and must have a loyal local customer base.
