The Waffle Experience

The Waffle Experience was truly an experience! Highly highly recommend adding your party to the wait-list before arriving. I utilized the function to have Yelp notify me to jump on and was very surprised when it suddenly jumped from 10 minutes to 45 minutes. Luckily we hopped on right in the nick of time and I was 3rd in line. Once seated, I looked over the menu and was immediately drawn to Praise the Lard. This was DELICIOUS! Everything paired so well together from the bacon studded waffle drizzled with pepper syrup to the THICK cut grilled pork belly paired with an egg, arugula, ricotta, and tomatoes. I gobbled everything up with no regrets! My friends ordered The Babe and the Chicken 'n Waffles. The Babe was rated very highly but the Chicken 'n Waffles fell flat. The citrus infused ricotta had a really odd texture and subsequently ruined the waffle since it was spread throughout. It was gritty and I almost mistook it as an almond paste when I tried it after my friend expressed her disdain. Service was just ok. When we walked in, I had told the waitress we had a dog and needed to sit on the patio. After 15 minutes...she prepped a table...inside. Then, when it came to closing the check, it took a lifetime after they took our cards. I mean, luckily the the ambiance was nice to hang out in but all of us couldn 't help but notice we were still there 30 minutes later.

OMG, Not only was I in waffle heaven, I was in GLUTEN FREE WAFFLE heaven !! My chicken and waffle entree was adjusted to be completely gluten free. My granddaughter had fun finding her hot dog inside the waffle bun. I was just in awe with my very tasteful gluten free meal , my granddaughter was happy with her meal. Carey is an awesome, very personable server. But then the entire staff was just amazing, they went above and beyond. The entire experience was Great!!

Waffle Experience is a small restaurant, offering diverse options of waffles. I had spicy burger (see picture below) which had flavors of chipotle and jalapeno. Each bite was a mixture of spice with savory. The burger was HUGE and I left full. The wife had a mimosa which she enjoyed. Strengths: Unique food options, high quality food. Cons: Staff is currently overwhelmed, resulting in long wait times (Early 2022).

Great breakfast. We went out of our way to visit this restaurant just based on the reviews. Wait in a Sunday morning was long but you can join the wait list via YELP so it really wasn't that bad. I got the Johnny Appleseed waffle and it was wonderful. Tasted like fresh apples. I would highly recommend this place

Oh my gosh! So I am that one person who has never had chicken and waffles before. Now I understand. The chicken and waffles at this place is fantastic! Following are pictures of the chicken and waffles, pulled pork, and the avocado toast.
