We stopped here for lunch on a Monday on route to holiday in Wales. When we called ahead we were told there was a weekly meeting of bingo and a quiz and that we were more than welcome to join in. We just missed out...on the bingo but joined in the quiz whilst waiting for our food. Nacho starter was lovely and the main meals were very tasty and great size portions. The locals got my daughters involved in the quiz and even shared their prizes with them. Very reasonably priced, amazing food and one of the most welcoming pubs I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!

Visited today for light lunch with friend. Staff are pleasant but asked for my contact number, which I had already provided by email when booking. It had not been recorded. The sandwich we ordered was prepared in good time; however the rind had been left...on the bacon which was unpleasant. The coffee after our meal was bitter and strong.

of us went for dinner whilst in Banbury on a canal boat trip. It was a Wednesday night and the place didn’t look much from the front. The rear has a really nice garden and we, and two dogs, we’re made very welcome and...the food was really good. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and we really enjoyed it.

We stopped for lunch on route our journey with our dog. As it was raining we were allowed inside the bar with her. The dog was offered water on arrival. Fish and chips and bruschetta served were lovely. Everyone was friendly and welcoming

Nice relaxed lunch to celebrate my friend’s birthday , lovely wine , good food and service . Will definitely return in the near future when we’re allowed to eat in.
