Three Broomsticks can be found in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter with fake snow adoring the roof. On my most recent to Universal Studios Hollywood (last November , my husband and I had a late lunch here. I figured I would try Three Broomsticks since the reviews for this restaurant was so high but I think I was let down. We waited in a short line to get inside (this all started around 2:15 pm and then inside, we waited in a very long line to get to the register to order. While we waited in this part of the line, we saw a digital menu and fake food of what your meal could look like if you order one of the meal items. Once you reach to the part of the line that is by the register, an employee will direct you to which register you may wait in line in (honestly there could and should be a better way to execute the line and all the waiting... . When I finally reached the register, I think I had waited ~40 minutes. My husband got tired of standing and so he left to go find a table. At the register, I finally ordered:Turkey Leg Platter, $16.99 prior to tax One giant turkey leg that is barbecued and served with thick cut steak fries. I didn't eat any of my husband's turkey but he thought the turkey leg was okay. His fries could have been cooked up a little bit longer to be a little crisper. It also would have been nice if his fries were hot instead of lukewarm. Roasted Chicken Salad, $15.99 prior to tax I opted for a salad and got blue cheese for my dressing. I actually wanted ranch dressing but the employee who took my order said the blue cheese would be close to it (which surprised me because I normally do not like blue cheese but thought the dressing did taste like ranch . I liked that this salad was made with a spring mix and came with chopped tomatoes, sliced carrots, a small amount of crotons, corn, olives, slices of cucumbers and slices of radish. There is also a good amount of thinly sliced chicken. This salad was refreshing and filling. Hot Butterbeer, $8 prior to tax My husband and I wanted to try butterbeer since everyone highly recommend I try it (I didn't try it the last time I visited Universal Studios a few years before . I thought a hot version would be good because it was cold out. I was disappointed that by the time I got this drink, it was just warm instead of hot. The drink itself was too sweet and probably would not order this again. I had to add water to help dilute all that amount of sugar used in this drink to make it drinkable. 16 oz Frozen Butterbeer, $8 prior to tax I wasn't sure if my husband wanted the frozen version or the hot version so I decided to order both. I thought this was slightly better than the hot version but probably because drinks that are frozen typically taste a little more subtle cold than at room temperature (or in the liquid stage . Still sweet though and don't think I would need to drink another butterbeer drink again (in either form . Butterbeer Ice Cream, $6.99 prior to tax Yep we went butterbeer crazy... I thought this was pretty sweet but maybe not as sweet as the hot butterbeer beverage. The portion for the size is on the small side. (Total= $61.29 after tax After I paid for my item, I went to go get utensils, ketchup and napkins while I waited for my order. I was actually surprised that the wait for my order was not that long... maybe a little less than 15 minutes? And then I brought out my heavy tray of food outside to where my husband was at. There was more seating outside than inside at this time. The seating is covered and there are heat lamps but they were not on when we were eating. I think prices are a little expensive but actually fair for a theme park. Overall, this dining experience was just okay, thus my 3 star rating. I don't think I would come back and would like to try some of the other eateries at this theme park.

Waited 1 hour just to finally get to the register and hear that half the menu is gone. I always eat here when I visit the park, although my last full-day visit was quite a while ago. It was a busy day, but not too busy, so hearing that almost half the menu was gone by 1 pm on a Saturday was a bit of a shock. They were out of fish and chips and the turkey leg, two things I considered ordering, so I got the herb-roasted chicken. It was okay. Not my first choice. We went back around 9 pm for some dessert: a cold butterbeer and butterbeer ice cream. For $7-8, the ice cream presentation could be a little better. It's not scooped up. The ice cream comes in a little cup like the ones that come with a wooden spoon but without a spoon. I satisfied my sweet tooth by making my own butterbeer float by dipping my ice cream into my butterbeer. Theme park food will always be a bit pricey. Quite an underwhelming experience. At least there are plenty of tables.

We came here on a rainy day. Our group was excited to come here, half bc butterberry and half bc we wanted something warm. I love the topics here, it really feels like you're in the HP universe and hanging on three Broomsticks. There are a lot of seats and it is warm inside on a cold day. The line to order well goes fast. And they show sample food on a display. After you get your food, an employee will direct you to a table. Food and beverages: I love the butterberry, but it's really sweet. Apple Pie: So delicious and warm! Shepherd's Pie: That's great! Sticky Toffee Pudding: My favorite dessert here, the toffe pudding and vanilla ice cream are the perfect combo

The food is ok here. I got the rib plate and my kids each got a Mac n cheese kids meal. The fries and potatoes were so so. The ribs were good and the corn had no flavor and needed butter. We also tried the butter beer and the green fizzy drink. The green drink was just ok and it had popping blueberry boba. The butter beer was amazing which is why I am giving 4 stars. I loved the butter beet. You can get it cold, frozen, or hot. We got it cold. I want to come back and try the frozen. We also tried the butter beer desert which was way too much sugar.
