We had such a bad experience which is a real shame as we used to love the cobham branch. I took my two daughters for a princess cake and hot chocolate. We got to the front and the person who seemed to be in charge, kristina, was on her phone and didn't look up when she saw us come in. As someone else eventually came over she then jumped in and started talking to her colleague about where to sit us. The restaurant wasn't busy. We asked what cupcakes were available and were told there weren't any, not the end of the world. We were sat in the quiet corner of the restaurant on sofas rather than chairs which was fine and pleasant to be away from other diners. Then as I was drinking my latte my daughter asked if she could have some. I said let me drink a little more then you can. As I was drinking I noticed something black in the froth, it was a dead ant. I took the cup straight to Kristina and ran into the toilet and was violently sick in front of my children. When I came out and told her she just said that there weren't ants in the kitchen and were there ants where we were sitting. I told her no, as we would have moved if there were. And she just shrugged it off and said she wouldn't charge for the coffee. I told her I would be complaining further and she just said that's fine. I have sent 2 emails, and a message on instagram and been totally ignored. I wrote a comment on one of the posts and it was immediately deleted. The customer service is awful. No wonder all the other branches have gone and I expect it won't be much longer before this one has gone too. Avoid wherever possible!
