my friend and I visited this pub to dinner, as we noticed his inner charm while passing. there was gentleman who served us, an extremely helpful South African man who recommended us to try the burger. we ordered their castle and a napoli pasta court. both were exceptional (for pub standards) and extremely reasonable for the contrary. a bottle house white is just £15.50 and the whole meal came only £34. the pub offers a quirky atmosphere several tables with large groups of people. recommended for those who want to get a quick, cost-effective eating in the opposite.

What a great find! This pub is within easy walking distance of Kings Cross St Pancras. A warm welcome by the lady behind the bar who actively informed me of the wide ranging beer choices. I received some great advice on what to taste. Perfect place to come for a beer and food. Whilst I didn't stay for it they clearly have a lot of evening events, from comedy to karaoke, which are hosted in a separate function room. Lots of character and a lively atmosphere.

large selection of burgers and hotdogs. the meat vs veggie are very clear on the menu, and the veggie stuff can be vegan on request. with this selection of fab veggies, I don't know why they bother with the non-veggies we had fried burgers since then and they were great. large clobier, deep roasted side-bits, fresh salad, sauce a bit creepy. a burger with Asian Slav, one with cheez’n’facon, various general aromen work great.

Although this place wasn't particularly crowded when I visited there wasn't any available seats inside. There are more outside seats, OK when the weather isn't too cold/wet. They had a very good selection of real ales/bitters, regular guest ales. The chocolate porter was incredibly nice. Prices are on average in keeping with this upmarket area, slightly high. All in all a good experience.

on a Sunday for a light lunch, they do meat options and a vegan / veggie option. I had the frying in a bun, it was okay, probably better on a weekday! modest.
