The Ship Inn - Reservar uma mesa

a very nice newly renovated pub with nice eating and great service. I visited the ship inn on Thursday 21 april 2022 in the early afternoon, a weekday during the school Easter holidays. I was with three others. that was my first visit. we found ourselves in east grinstead after a ride on the bluebell line steamer-earth train and looked for a dog friendly place where we sit in the sun and have a bite to eat this pub really tickled all crates! the pub consists of a series of dining areas with many tables with full table service both inside and outside the outside areas have been well designed to use the space well and are welcoming and practical. the team was very friendly and welcoming and I had no problems, we got everything we expected in good time and enjoyed the experience. I enjoyed a cheese, tomato and pimple sandwich with chips for my lunch. eating came hot, was well presented and tasted really good. there was a good choice of food and I found something that easily called me. eating was a good value for money. overall I really enjoyed my visit and would recommend it definitiw!

on Saturday the ship gasthof visited for a late lunch with my friends. we were kindly greeted and brought to a table. nothing seemed too much for the waitress who was looking for us that her name was hailey. some of us have allergies and she ensured that everything was noticed and was spoken with the kitchen. they noticed that we all have different accents and have taken time to ask where we were and we have shared some travel stories. eating was great, and the place looks fantastic. we will be back

we came here on Sunday for the first time for a roast evening. I was not here before the change of hands / renovation, but oh my gosh the pub is absolutely stunning! very charming outside seats and decking as well. eating was delicious especially my lamb the staff are very attentive and happy to attend. will come back in any case!

Super cosy pub. Lovely staff. I love what they've done with the interior. Dark wooden features, fireplace , sofas , armchairs , intriguing framed paintings around . Basically all round sweet vibes Coming again!

Love this newly refurbished pub in East Grinstead. We enjoyed our food and drinks sitting in glorious sunshine. It's the pub that EG has always been missing. I look forward to many visits to come.
