The Secret Cup - Reservar uma mesa

I have to confess upfront that this cafe is owned by friends of ours but this review is the honest truth. The decor is classy and welcoming, creating a warm, cosy atmosphere. The artworks which adorn the walls change monthly and always feature local artist's work so there is always something new to see. The food is top notch and their always interesting menu changes regularly. The coffee is lovely and the home-made cakes and slices are to die for! The staff and friendly and helpful without being intrusive. On our most recent visit for Sunday brunch, we both chose the Eggs Benedict with maple bacon. The food arrived in good time and was delicious. The place always seems to be well-patronised and with good reason. We have never been left disappointed or hungry after a visit. The also feature live music with local musicians on some Sunday afternoons in their sunny courtyard at the rear. Highly recommended.

The renovation to this old building into a cafe is wonderful in part due to using the heritage of the building whilst still ensuring it is modern enough for access for all, ie wheelchair access with proper disabled toilets. The food and the service is always lovely, have enjoyed breakfast and lunch here, my favourite dish that I keep ordering is the smoked salmon and avocado bagel as the salmon is smoked fresh locally.

Lovely place to stop by have coffe and cake and enjoy the lovely surrounds with friends. The outdoor. Court yard is lovely, great when the weather is fine, however indoors is a much nicer place when it's not so nice outside.

After ditching Piccolo Pod due to bad service and long waits the Secret Cup is a great coffee outlet in terms of service and product. We are keen to try their breakfast, time permitting.

Stopped here for a coffee and ended up having carrot cake for two. Very fresh and tastey. Lattee perfect. Great service as well.
