Would have given zero stars had that been possible. Booked well in advance. Kept waiting with three other couples for a good 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Shown to our table to find a party of guests still eating/drinking. Went to another table to find cleaning products and dirty cloth on table. The gentleman at the door was absolutely out of his depth and had little or no management training. Door notice said they were accepting only bookings, everyone else turned away due to lack of staff. If there was only limited staff on that evening why did no-one think to cancel bookings/rebook customers for another time. Staff completely overwhelmed and stressed. This place needs strong management and leadership. It really is a complete shambles. GIVE IT A MISS.Needless to say our party of four walked out in disgust.

Food nice. But the idea of us ordering our food and drinks at the bar and pay as you go is not what we want. We are regulars and we like to give the waitresses our orders at the table and have contact with them too. We feel that the service overall is slow and the limited staff that are on cant manage especially if big parties are in. Not having a go at the staff as they do their best. They need a Manager supporting them out front and not in the kitchen . Overall the evening was Ok.

Lovely place, staff are superb, very keen to please. I wish I could say that the food was absolutely first class, but to be nitpicky, time was when you got a good helping of it. Seems that since Covid/C.O.L. portions appear to be a bit meagre. Food was delicious, but a bit more next time please

The Staff that were there were pleasant, the food was OK. We are not sure if there are staffing issues, the mains took a long time to come out which we expected, but to wait 50mins for dessert was just not on Price per person: £40–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Staff under pressure but remained friendly and efficient. Dietary restrictions: Had a really good gluten free menu too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips
