The Royal Oak - Reservar uma mesa

Definately a locals only pub. Walked in with masks on ..our choice. No one else had them on ..their choice. Very small was stared at felt very uncomfortable Tried to call manager over to order food he came took a glass away walked off and...carried on talking to locals. Shame..very lovely inside but cust omer service NIl Left ...no thank you goodbye .... Went elsewhere where our time and money felt was appreciated. Lets hope the locals remain for many years. Never going back and wouldnt waste time or money

Took my son for a late birthday meal this evening The front of house staff were very welcoming and friendly We struggled what to order for food as it all sounded amazing but was not disappointed with the lamb fillet that we both had! Food...was delicious , I had no room for dessert but my son had the lemon and ginger cheesecake which obviously I had to try and it was amazing. Highly recommend can’t wait to go back

Second visit to this little gem, tiny old pub with bags of character and a roaring fire. Sunday lunch huge and absolutely gorgeous, vegetarian and vegan options available. Beer lovers would enjoy (sadly driving the twice visited). Staff friendly and helpful.

Only came for drinks but it was a lovely experience. Very cosy and very dog-friendly. The whole place was nice and the staff were excellent. Would have done with more parking etc because it was very busy that night but overall no complaints. Great!!

Second visit here and the food did not disappoint. Fantastic Cauliflower fritters and Salmon Taco followed by Paella and Gnocchi and for dessert a delicious Chocolate tart. The staff are friendly and efficient. The Royal Oak is well worth a visit.
