The Royal Oak - Reservar uma mesa

We stopped into The Royal Oak for lunch before heading to the beach. It has a lovely relaxed traditional village pub vibe and great food. The person behind the bar was really helpful and we spent a blissful hour or so, soaking up the atmosphere. We were really impressed with the food, especially the vegetarian 'fish and chips ', which was fantastic! I would thoroughly recommend The Royal Oak for lunch, or just a beer, before heading off for some fossil hunting!

Came in the night before, and saw some mussels go out ,and the smell was the seller for me, fresh garlicy lushness. I was not disappointed They were plump and tender. Many thanks.

Great food, great atmosphere. Very impressed with the separate gluten free menu. Nice to see a restaurant/pub taking coeliac disease and allergy’s seriously. Well done Royal Oak.

Roast dinner for 4 people and it was perfect, also had drinks on Sunday with friends lovely atmosphere
