The Red Lion - Reservar uma mesa

I met friends at the red lion in the late summer and had a delicious meal. I thought it was the perfect place for my birthday party. I ordered the same as my previous visit, the four meal we ordered were terrible. mentioned it to the waitress, she wanted to say the kitchen, the puds were in order. alarm bells should have cracked, the table was very sticky, I had booked a week before, but from table had not cute only two other tables so not busy. when we got our meal, we had to wait for cutlery, just like for ours. we used our serviettes as place mats, we stayed at the table! we mentioned the table and eating at the young man who served the bar and drinks in the restaurant area, after he had asked how our meal was, he said he had a stubborn one night, but did notice the table, I'm sorry that the usual cook is on vacation, but would be back in 10 days as if it was okay. . . . as sad as the red lion is before us. later learned the cook in the night is the owner/manager.

Visited this weekend and was very happy with the choice of venue, the food was excellent and the service was very good and very reasonably priced. Have been looking for local pubs with nice food and I was not disappointed unlike when we visited another...local pub.. Will definitely be back.

we went to the red lion on Sunday. had a nice Sunday dinner. beautifully presented, large selection of vegetables and beautifully cooked. personal very polite and attentive. highly recommend that we live closer. hopefully back soon

this is a rustic village pub, with hospitable hosts. the food was excellent, the teig on the fish was perfect. there were natives who jump in for a pint that you don't see at many places now.

11 hungry men visited the traditional Christmas dinner. we had all the works. a well presented meal, great service, beautiful atmosphere.
