The Red Lion - Reservar uma mesa

A good size pub that got a nice area that is kind of like a lounge for drink only. First time we had the curry as we went on a Thursday evening which happen to be a curry night. The dishes is pretty decent on portion. Curry itself taste fine but the bread look greasy and a bit soggy. Guess still a good deal even if you don't eat the bread. No hesitation to go back just for drinks anytime.

The red lion is a typical JD wetherspoons set in a lovely old building. It offers the same menu and beverages as most of the others. The food was nothing special it was cheap and it hit the spot, the staff were friendly. There is parking available next to the pub and its pay and display. It is close to the town centre so it's ideal for a spot of lunch while shopping.

One of the best ‘spoons I was in ... The building is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff, amazing, incredibly friendly and my order came quickly... Who runs this pub does an amazing job!!!

Great little place, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and good drinks. Very comfortable and pleasant inside. Always a perfect choice for a treat, whether the weekend or weekday.

Regularly attend on Friday lunch breaks. Small pub but welcoming, food always arrives promptly. Bar manager never fails to make us smile
