Fortunately, after rushing around, getting changed, fresh from the bath, that even good designer jeans weren’t acceptable. That was the excuse to not go and endure an average meal, at a price that justified excellent service. I’m not saying that it hasn’t a sense of grandeur, just that it isn’t all that, any more. I have had nice meals but, even my member friend quips that the £6 supermarket wine at £20+ pounds is steep. Living on a good name

Excellent lunch at the Potters Club. Great food and service in a building full of history. Topped of by the excellent hosting by Jenny. Top marks and we’ll definitely be back.
