The Pennypack Mill

I had a very recent horrible experience with this place for a bridal shower. We paid an exuberant amount for a terrible experience. We ordered a cheese and fruit plate which was 10 dollars a person, first they forgot the cheese (which was an honest mistake) however they then brought cheese out, only enough for 15 people, the bride didn't even get cheese because it wasn't replenished. Then we had juices for the mimosa bar which we picked out 3 before the event. They ran out of peach juice after 1 round even though we prepicked it and decided to replace it with pineapple, again it happens but for how much we paid and to not be fully prepared was ridiculous. We then had to keep going to track down the lady running the event to please keep refilling juices etc..Furthermore we had sandwiches, which one of the employees then ate one of them during the party IN FRONT OF US AND GUESTS. I called to talk to a manager who was very nice and understanding of the situation. We left things unfinished as she said she will follow up with the owner. I called her back the next day and she had emailed another bridesmaid that I had been extremely rude on the phone and they were only refunding us 50$ for the cheese when we had spent 400$ on the fruit and cheese platter. So I guess their way to get out of refunding more is to get defensive and play the blame card. This place is extremely unprofessional.

We had the most amazing experience this past weekend at the pennypack mill! It was everything we could hope it would be and more. With the help of Donna and her staff we were able to provide the most special bridal shower for my sister! The space was perfect for our vision and the food was delicious!!! I highly recommend this space to anyone who is looking for a venue that is unique and with professional and exceptional customer service!!

Very flexible with planning and the staff are so nice! I had planned a surprise birthday party for my grandmothers 80th birthday here and they made the process so easy! The staff was very quick with helping the guests and they also made the event very discrete to avoid ruining the surprise. Overall, I would definitely plan an event here again as my entire family had a great time!

The Pennypack Mill does events like parties and funeral luncheons, which is why I was there. The building is nearly 300 years old and has a lot of history to it. The catered food was great, with plenty to go around.

I hosted my best friend's bridal shower brunch at the Pennypack Mill this past weekend. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly! Such a lovely venue for a shower and the food was delicious! Thank you!!!
