The Park Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Today was my daughter's birthday, and with our friends we planned to have lunch outside in the park. I would like to note that there were many empty tables. We sat down and before ordering, I opened juice and gave it to the children. At that moment, a cafe worker ran up to us and in a very rude manner began to demand that we leave the table immediately. I tried to explain to her that we were planning to place an order right now and asked her to give us five minutes. to which she continued to demand to leave immediately. the children were absolutely shocked by her manners and my friends said that having lived in Scotland for several years they had never encountered such disgusting treatment. After such a welcome, of course, we immediately left. After that, I saw several families sitting in the cafe area with thermoses and food not from this cafe. I pointed this out to the cafe worker. The rules apparently did not apply to everyone. They found fault with us, perhaps because we are foreigners So if you decide to treat your children to the juice you brought with you at one of the empty tables of this wonderful cafe, be prepared to be treated like a beggar. This is not somewhere to go if you want a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The tables are very crowded together with little space to manoeuvre and this is made worse by the number of massive buggies wheeled in by parents with little thought for those already at tables. While the owners can’t be held responsible for the behaviour and attitude of other customers they could provide an outside space for buggies to be left and ask that they are left. At a busy lunchtime there was only one person serving which might have explained her brusque manner. The tea we ordered was ok, but very small teapots and cups so not great value for money. Scones and pastries were nice with good portions of jam and butter. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy screaming children.

I held a baby shower for my sister at The Park Cafe and it was a wonderful day. The whole booking process was seamless, the room was amazing and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. (we had the afternoon tea) There was plenty of it and all the guests were given a little takeaway box at the end too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your venue to others or use you again in the future.

All good tasty but i asked for onions and they serve me un cooked onions...wtf dont understand why, just lazy if i knew this will happen i would not order with onions lady doesnt know what is going on in the kitchen : all girls are young what u can expect from them ..

We used the Balcony room for breakfast for a group of 20 golfers on Friday 7th July 23, plenty room the staff was very friendly and provided great service. Good choice of a breakfast roll to choose from.
