The Old Inn - Reservar uma mesa

I visited the Old Mill last week, and concur with the majority of reviewers that the steaks are some of the best I 've ever tasted. The charcoal grilled 6 week dry aged steaks have wonderful flavour. Personally I 'd have preferred proper chips than skinny (and slightly hard) French fries. However, my biggest disappointment was that, in the 21st century, and with such great care and pride of their steaks, why on earth does this pub not serve any proper, naturally conditioned, real ales. There are so many stunning ales available these days that can compliment the most sophisticated of meals, to be offered a range of pressurised, flavourless keg beers was a real let-down.

Be prepared to be wowed Driven past this place many times and never thought about calling in. How stupid I was. Not what I expected at all. We’d been for dinner in Oban the previous night and was told we were in for a treat. This is a Steak place and they know how to cook it to perfection Great ambience great surroundings great food. What ever you guys are doing your doing it well. Brilliant Carnt wait to come back.

Went tonight and what can I say…the setting,atmosphere,staff and food…..all amazing!Will definitely return to the area if only to eat here again!

Yet another fab recommendation from the owners at kinlochlaich house. Had a great meal. The steak was fab and loved the peppercorn sauce.
