The Moose Cookhouse

Looks great from outside and is lovely inside. An overwhelmingly large menu. Ordered a Chicken Parma Sammy which included a free side. Not entirely true. Although I was told I could have any side so I chose Mac and cheese, the waitress soon returned saying I could have salad, fries or soup (this should be clear on the menu). Not to worry, I chose soup which was red pepper and delicious. But... The chicken fillet?? Goodness knows. I bit into it and the whole thing pulled out of the bread. It was stringy, chewy, undercooked and definitely not chicken breast. I literally had two tugs at it and gave up. Really nasty stuff. I can't imagine what the good reviewers ate but it wasn't this!

My wife and I visited North Bay for a few hours whilst travelling and we were hungry (skipped breakfast in Huntsville) so we stopped here for an early lunch. Looks great inside and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food, however, wasn't good. My wife and I had the chicken parma - which we assumed was chicken breast. I think it was actually thigh and it wasn't cooked long enough. It kinda squelched when bitten into and was 'stringy'. Not good. I had their wings too, which were just OK. I'm writing this review 2 hours later and my stomach feels fragile like I want to vomit. Not sure if it was the long drive back down to Huntsville or the food. Maybe both.

Went there for a quick lunch meeting with an old friend and found the food quite tasty.__The staff there were friendly and carried smiles all the time.

I saw Thai Kitchen on Yelp and was hoping I had finally found an authentic Thai restaurant in Irvine but I was wrong.
