The Lock Keeper

From walking into the pub had to wait to be served,no problem with waiting. When served told bar person that I had booked a table. We were escorted to table 21 which still had plates on it. Plates cleared and napkins left on table not even wiped down we waited for our order. After a while meals were served with cold chips . Would I use this place again ? NOT A CHANCE. It seems that this pub just focuses on the quick money maker called a carvery which we did not have.

Family Get together , 9 guests booked online. Manager very friendly and helpful, Food delivered perhaps a bit slow but no complaints We all felt we had a good evening. Surprised at all the previous 'not so good ' reports. Would recommend. Suggest that for large groups an ordering at the table service, should be offerred as I had to write down our parties requirements ' then go to bar to order &pay.

Great night with family including 4 grandkids. The eldest played in the play area outside. Staff were excellent, very attentive! Food ok, no complaints. Overall, great time! Thank you.

Great menu and carvery is good. Staff always friendly. Lovely beer garden and good views of the canal. Thoroughly enjoy every visit.

Lovely pub with stood character and a delicious carvery. Served by Jack with a smile on his face. Will be returning
