The Jolly Fisherman was a pub for 125 years until 1959, but when I first saw the building it was a pie mash shop and B B, but for the past circa 7 years it's been a micropub again. I visit every couple of weeks and meet up with 4-5 friends, although a few of them go much more regularly. It sells 2 or 3 cask ales, half a dozen or so craft keg beers, and a half dozen or so ciders/perry. Plus an interesting selection of spirits (wine of course), many bottled beers, and an interesting selection of bar snacks. Friendly warm atmosphere, and a tiny back door, mind your head! Great music played too, and not too loud, but tasteful. You usually find beers from the continents too, I have no idea how they manage to get some of them!
