The Hesketh Arms

Everything was great, other than the King prawn cocktail was just a prawn cocktail, and pretty average. However the rest of the meal was outstanding, and the staff were fab, really friendly and welcoming. Ps: the Chieftan ale is great. My wife and I first met here 12 years ago and that's why i chose it for this meal. Very glad I did. Thanks so much.

Dont get me wrong this pub is decorated well looks cosy inside and the foods good but its definitely lost some of the charm and character it used to

An excellent traditional pub in Churchtown, Southport - almost opposite the Bold, also a great place and not dissimilar.
