The Hero of Waterloo Hotel

Das "The Hero of Waterloo" liegt etwas vom Hafen weg, im Viertel "The Rocks". Es hat den Charm eines irischen Pubs, was nicht zuletzt auch daran liegt, das Guiness auf der Getränkekarte angeboten wird.Es werden Tapas wie Wedge Potatoes oder Chicken Wings angeboten, aber es gibt auch eine richtige Speisekarte mit Vorspeisen, Hauptgängen und Nachtisch.Wie in irischen Pubs üblich, bestellt man an der Theke. Getränke nimmt man direkt zum Platz mit, Speisen werden an den Tisch gebracht.Bei unserem Besuch spielte eine Live-Band, was dazu führte, dass es doch sehr laut war.Ansonsten ist die Athmosphäre aber toll.

Uma boa refeição para um almoço com sexta-feira. Lord Nelson Hotel foi infelizmente reservado, o herói do Waterloo tinha que tentar satisfazer minhas altas expectativas - algumas poderia dizer que foram condenadas desde o início ao fracasso. Pesar Pesar Um fabuloso interior e convidar pessoal. Eu pedi o peixe e batatas fritas, que foi média, os chips estavam definitivamente sob par, chips são importantes para fazer ou quebrar para mim. Nenhum fator wow e provavelmente não de volta, mas ouvi dizer que este lugar tem uma excelente atmosfera em uma sexta-feira ou sábado à noite.

Very tired on our first night in town we stopped in for an early dinner. The pub itself is beautiful and worth the stop. The food was very good, I had fish and chips my wife the grilled barramundi. The service was good and the beer couldn't have been better. It's just around the corner from where we're staying, so you can bet I'll be back.

Mãos abaixo da pior comida que comi. A comida durou muito tempo para descobrir, e quando estava frio, estava frio e por US $ 17 por um hambúrguer de frango eu espero muito mais do que um pequeno pedaço de frango com metade de uma peça de tomate em um rolo com abacate marrom. Nunca comeria aqui novamente.

Recently visited here twice whilst visiting The Rocks. Absolutely gorgeous little pub. Friendly staff and great Guinness. It really has a great feel to it.....lurveeeee.
