We enjoyed sitting outside this cafe. We had a gin tonic and some water and also ordered patatas bravas and bocerones. The fish was fantastic and good value for tapas €3 per tapa) and the patatas bravas were also well cooked, though I wish I had asked for them without the mild mustard like sauce which was poured on top of them and which made them quite soggy. Our bill came to €13.70, so the drinks were €7.70 which seemed a bit steep to me, though I am not sure as we normally have beer! Service was good, even at a very busy time, and the waiter very friendly. However, if you are looking for tapas, a less atmospheric but incredibly good value place is down an escalator in a shopping centre type place nearby in the Cerveseria Ciutat Gaudi II where we got almost more than we could eat for €10 each and that included a drink. I'll review that separately.

We stopped here for a snack and Spain is the best place in the world for this, offering tapas or small well prepared dishes of impressive variety at very affordable rates. I asked for a, Estrella beer and was told, apologetically, that they only had their own beer, which for me was much better! A chilled bottle of Green Dog beer washed down nachos, patatas bravas and olives and my wife had a big, impressive alcohol free pina colada. Sitting out in the warm evening air in mid October is a welcome novelty for a Scot, especially when it involves soaking up an incredible Spanish late evening buzz with people of all ages responsibly enjoying their night out.

The location is good, in a usually busy plaza, lots of young people, good ambience. The tables are sparsely deployed so you have no feeling of overcrowding. One of the better places in Reus to have a beer or a coffe.

You can have a drink in a very nice athmosphere, as well as to share good conversations in Engliah every wednesday with a very good group. The waiters are very friendly and you feel like at home
