The Great Barrier Reef

Been coming to this chippy for over a year and I’ve honestly never had a bad meal, Chips are ALWAYS gorgeous, the Cod is beautifully chunky and light with a crispy battered coating. Their condiments are superb, best chip shop curry sauce I have tasted in about 20 years and the service is always warm and friendly. Ultimately this is a lovely family run chippy that prides itself in excellence. 5/5

Rang ahead with order and went to collect 25 minutes later. Well sorted out for all the COVID shenanigans, collected food, and was away within a couple of minutes. Unwrapped at home the food was hot, fish was beautiful crisp batter, firm flesh chips might have benfiotted from 2 minutes in a really hot oven, but too hungry so got stuck in. Brilliant.

I have visited here twice in July and both times food was cooked fresh and tasted good. New potatoes are also being fried at present. Some people seem to be ignoring the Covid 19 rules and notices put up by the business. Would have scored 5 stars but due to the Covid 19 lack of respect by some customers I have scored this a 4.

As our usual chippy is closed due to a fire, so we had to look elsewhere.This place is 12 miles from us but is well worth the journey! The cod chips were delicious, my sister in law couldn’t believe the prices that she paid for her meal! Will definitely be back!

Attended here whilst on holiday..food was cooked freshly and the owners were very friendly. Very good prices and very clean inside
