Very oversubscribed because there is no competition for miles, Trying to pack too much in to a pub that is not designed to accommodate. All tables reserved but still serving food that takes far too long to come and risks turfing people outside in the cold. Food was only a snack and was appalling, coke on draught made the drinks taste off. Certainly not designed to have an open mic session as well as people eating on reserved tables. No space for musicians. Damn shame as could be a lovely atmosphere but no effort made to improve or accommodate. Perhaps more could be used of the outside space

Step back in time walking into this Inn and mind your head. We were lucky enough to visit when M'larkey (local folk band) were having band practice on a Wednesday. I drank ale produced on site. And we ate skin on cheesy chips. The staff were so friendly and were happy to chat. There was a large selection of games to keep the kids happy. I 100% will be coming back.

Friendly, welcoming, excellent staff. Good atmosphere. Good beer. Good food. Had some work going on when we visited but didn’t spoil the experience. Good clean toilets (upstairs) and ground floor disabled toilet.

Sunday roast absolutely awful. The driest scrag ends of chicken I’ve ever eaten and the rest of the meal was no better. Cold gravy. Cold pub. Cold atmosphere will not be returning
