The Globe Inn - Reservar uma mesa

Large signs outside claimed good food served all day . We only got as far as the door. Another sign asked us to wait to be seated. A barmaid was standing behind the bar, 10 metres away. My wife said table for two please . The barmaid shouted back what for? . Confusion followed as we couldn 't hear her and vica versa. Eventually she bellowed Kitchen 's closed! . This person is most definitely in the wrong job!

Stopped off here on our first day in kendal and ended up going in pretty much everyday for the time we were here. The landlord is very welcoming and friendly. Inside is very traditional and cosy. Just how we like it. Partner lived the selection of lager too!

Great little pub but just like all others they want people who are eating rather than just drinks, not surprising in current climes. Very friendly atmosphere with mine hosts trying to make the most of a bad lot, would definately return.

We was waiting a couple of min, the girl behind the bar was using toilet fair enough. When she came out she stared at us then went into a back room. No thanks we walked out obvs didn’t like her job!! Took out business elsewhere.

Friendly staff, beautiful meal (one of the best actually and we don’t usually eat in pubs)! We’ll definitely go again when visiting Kendal! We’ve had the best night! David and Adela
