the booking was made to lunch before two or three weeks here, it has much colder, surprised to get a table in the garden space, clearly busy. our table for four was the next door, which serves as the main entrance. the room itself is heated, but the entire meal was pampered by the door opening and closing, worse than the people kept it open, the two of us sat at the end constantly shimmering, not big. as with most places there might have been problems with the personal, as the menu did not include starters. we have all decided to eat, all were very good, especially the bark that is rarely served. everything was well seasoned, cauliflower cheese is an extra that is unusual and for the part quite expensive for what it was. we had gloomy, crumbs and sticky toffee pudding, not sure whether to be hot, but were served lukewarm. the service is added to the bill, this is clearly stated. we like this place and have met the family here before, just a scandal over the cold.

great to be back since covid. we had tried to book earlier, but there were no open places. ideally placed and local for our visit. even better, as the new manager only two nights before our arrival with a few employees left who took government leaderships. we were received and felt comfortable, eating was as good as I remember the breakfast. on the bottom, only a few selections on the menu for my coeliac woman to choose, but we were sure that this is to improve and the space in which we were was sufficient if now a little tired. I would recommend staying here and we will be back. Thank you for having us among the things.

on the way back from bristol to dinner on speculators. it was very busy (a good sign), but it managed to get a table in the restaurant area. it was well ordered and a nice environment. the menu was good, from pub classics to some other gastro-cube style dishes. we had a rib-eye steak and the glamour of beef-casrole. both were excellent. steak cooked nicely with good pfeffer sauce. beef shiny was melted in mouth tender. the food was also very good for the quality in the offer. service was very polite and efficient. Nothing that does not like will definitely visit again.

great sunday roast. great location, beautiful seating area in the free as well. service with a smile, only critique is that they seemed to forget about me when they see my teller away and had to go to the cash for the bill. lower problem, very impressed and will be safe again.

great Saturday afternoon lunch, excellent selection to eat each dish was well cooked for money. beautiful pint of butcombe with attentive employees who could not do enough for them. highly recommended and will definitely be back.
