The Farmhouse Cafe

I never knew this cafe was just round the corner from the shop I regularly visit. Came in for a cuppa and to feed my month old. What a wonderful, accommodating, relaxed place. The menu looked fab but I could also mix and match...so had egg, sausage and toast and a perfectly brewed cuppa. The eggs and sausage was delicious and the toast hot buttered so many times you get served a cold bit of toast with ice cold butter in a wrapper in other cafes but not here). Will make this a regular visit

Love the fact this place is dog friendly. Took my puppy here to sit outside and had just a coffee. The coffee was good and all the young staff are lovely. All except the male manager. I genuinely thought I had done something wrong as...he was so rude and grumpy towards me. However my mother in law went there recently as well and she said the same thing. Such a shame as the rest of the staff are really nice.

Nice addition to the rural cafe scene. Had late lunch here, with good coffee and sandwich. Great terrace with pleasant view of fields, and looks nice inside too.

Food good but staff not so good now, A man maybe manager has a horrible attitude and we probably won’t go back Which is a shame
