The Elm - Reservar uma mesa

Went to check the place out for our first time. Nice atmosphere on the rooftop but we waited at least 10 minutes for anyone to even come over. We finally called over the hostess to go find our server. Another 5 minutes and nothing. Appears the restaurant wasn't prepared at all for a Sunday night after a festival. Not going back to pay high prices for the zero service we got. We opted to walk out instead of waiting for who knows how long. Only gave the food 3 stars because we tried it before at a wedding shower.

Beautiful vibrant atmosphere, reminds me of Resturants in Napa Valley, Ca. With the same farm to table, delicious fresh tasting food. For starters we had the yummy flavour parmesan fries and Cesar salad, greens were awesomely fresh. We did a shared entra choosing the crab cakes and Halibut. Although not lump crab meat the seasoning was flavorful on the palette. The Halibut was very fresh and buttery moist melting on the palette. Elm is Napa in my neighborhoodLove this place??

The price of the food is not worth the quality. Food isn’t bad but nothing spectacular, somewhat over salted and trying too hard to mimic fine dining and missing the mark. The rooftop atmosphere is very pleasant but also seems like a happy-hour hangout so it got very loud at times with groups of people seemingly meeting for drinks. Might come back for drinks in the future but can’t imagine coming back for the dining/food.

Server came over and gave us a thumbs up? Weird. We reserved a couch but wasn’t available. Didn’t want to wait for boat dads to get up so we sat at a table. Food and drinks were okay but so overpriced it was hard to enjoy. seriously I can go downtown and pay less. It’s Lagrange. Rooftop was nice but not $20 for small plate nice. Not going back.

Very nice ambiance outside, nice wine listFor appetizers recommend fig bruschetta , tacos its different and great !Also for dinner they have local farm steak , it is prepared beautifully and tastes great ?
