The Crown - Reservar uma mesa

Somewhat disappointed. Not from the area but fancied trying somewhere that isn't in thetford. The initial impression was poor. Locals pub with nobody to greet you. Eventually shown upstairs by a nervous young man. Thankfully another girl was looking after us who was very good. Food was decent enough but wouldn't return. Better food for the price elsewhere

We visited for a light lunch for four people. Living in north Norfolk we find many of the pubs there overpriced and over extended. Thank goodness that the Crown still provides excellent traditional English pub food in bars which though nicely looked after still...

I often rely on the AA Good pub guide, it rarely lets me down so after picking this pub out and reading some TA reviews was looking forward to our visit. Made a booking for 2pm on a Saturday expecting the place to be busy, especially as it was a hotel too.

A lovely old classic English pub in a quiet spot, big grassy beer garden, extensive family-friendly menu, huge cheese ploughman’s, friendly cat.

Lovely staff. Made very welcome, nice little cosy pub, with garden. nice breakfast. Thanks the crown.
