The Clove Takeaway

I have ordered food from The Clove restaurant and I paid as normal the food and the delivery fee trough the app as well. However, I have been called by someone from the restaurant after my order has been accepted and I was threatened that if I’m not going to pay extra money to the driver off the records, not trough the app, they will cancel the order as my address is to far and he is not going to send the driver that far for my food. He was very disrespectful as I refused to do that, if on the app I am charged x amount of money for transport I can’t see any reason why I should pay extra off the records. They cancelled the order straight away and now I have to wait for a refund for 3-5 working days, so my money are blocked. How can you ask to be ‘bribed’ so you can have your food??? Never again ordering from them.

absolutely disgusted at the service. Made an order on the website at 6.00pm went to collect our order at 6.56 to get it home and find it was the wrong order so i rang up to be told ours wasnt even ready it would be delivered when done 8.45pm our food arrived we had ordered chicken tikka it was sweet and sickly iv never had 1 that tasted sweet. The food felt like it was rushed and the other curries tasted the same it was the first time we have ordered from The Clove and it will definitely be the last! Dont normally leave a bad review for anywhere but I honestly felt this review was justified

I saw the bad review and thought it was a little harsh. I’ve had one curry from here and it was the nicest one so far I’ve tried in Mansfield and I’ve tried a lot! Reason being is I’m from Birmingham and I’ve missed a decent curry! This was the most enjoyable I’ve had. I had a bhuna and it was lovely. Not quite like home but I’ll stick with them as they satisfy my craving. Good service good price good food! Well done the clove!

wow. I just had my first Indian from the klove. absolutely delicious. the lamb simply melts in the mouth. the Nan-Brot is also Georgian. fast delivery and in the time for ant and decks Saturday evening take.. Many thanks for their help

simply the best Indian restaurant in mansfield. would go nowhere else, great portions, great menu, great kitchen. I've never been disappointed at the years I've eaten here. it's always my way to take.
