The Cafe At Shields

We had lunch with some friends and the waiting staff at the café couldn't have been nicer. The food was good, the atmosphere was very nice, but the staff was exceptional. I highly recommend this café if you want to have lunch with friends, or if you just want to get a pleasant relaxing afternoon away in a café with a wonderful ambience. Only one of the many hidden gems here in the Coachella Valley.

We had a nice lunch on the terrace. Service was great. We went to the store and saw the film of the history of the Shoelds before we went to the gardens. It was such a beautiful experience all around and a great change from sitting around the pool. And the Date Shake was absolutely delicious. A desert tradition you shouldn't miss.

Fantastic food and the most beautiful setting! Not much more to say honestly. Very pleased with the entire experience. We had a wait but walking around the grounds was part of the experience anyway. Definitely get a date shake for dessert! We split it with 5 people and everyone had enough!

Beautiful illuminated area, gracious host, courteous staff, delicious buffet, beautiful night and a wonderful award ceremony! We have enjoyed the experience and recommend that others visit this facility! Terry and Ross Brinson, Rossland, British Columbia, Canada.

There is no OBVIOUS entrance to the restaurant, do not hesitate to ask the staff for directions, it is behind the building and there is a bow on the right side. Food and service were great! Quiet, peaceful, you can find the fountain here... Romantic place.
