The Bulls Head Pub

We have regularly had enjoyable Friday nights fish deal here and have always been impressed up until tonight. Our table was booked and we ordered the fish and fizz deal. We waited over 40 minutes for our food. They had sold out of prosecco (which...should have been part of the deal) so we're given two small bottles (note one bottle= 75cl, two small ones 50cl .....spot the difference Usually there is so much food on the plate, we have a job to eat it all, NOT tonight! Fish has halved in size and instead of usual tasty chips got some sort of seasoned rubbish! Price has increased by £5 which would have been okay if quality was as good! I'm sure staff were aware of the situation because not once were we asked if everything was okay! Such a pity because we love it here but tonight were made to feel very uncomfortable! Senior staff need to be more sociable and learn a lesson from the youngsters!

my first visit to the bullen goes on business. had dinner and stayed in the rooms above the pub for a night. dinner first. absolutely excellent. I have the fish and chips and I don't think I've ever seen a fish. I have a massive appetit, but I couldn't finish it. really tasty wash off with a beautiful prise bier. next room. very cheap and I was surprised how good dreams are paid for the price. excellent value for money very comfortable everything they might need. many thanks for looking for me and I will definitely be a repeat visitor.

after an hour waiting for our food, I asked about the bar and was told that our order would be next. then three more tables were served. when the food finally arrived, it was really not worth waiting or the money. we were offered. complication drinks to wait for the waiting period, but these lasted long to arrive, and when they did, the order was wrong. simply the worst service I ever had in a pub/restaurant. I think the average age of the staff was under twenty, which probably did not help.

we had to wait an hour for the food we ordered. eating that came was not worth waiting, they didn't even seem so busy. they then offered free drinks, but we also had to wait for these age groups. really terrible. our pet dog. had good service and was brought a bowl of water and some cookies.

we visited on Saturday after we saw posts on the fb over the new vegan menu. the food was absolutely delicious. beautiful atmosphere, good service. will be returned by definitiw x
