The Bell At Coleby

Dropped in for a pint, tried to pay but they wanted me to open a tab with my card. Argued that i was only having a pint and they relented (perhaps they thought I was going to pinch the glass). Beer is pricey but the food is outlandish. I guess they want to keep the hoi polloi (like me) out. Very 'hunting,shooting and fishing clientele. Kings Head is just down the road in Navenby. They have good beer and the food is great. They also have free chips and sandwiches after the Monday quiz.

What impresses me about this gem of a place is the quality of the ingredients....the chef is truly a magician. Well presented, cooked with a flare for flavour. Charming 0lace, highly highly recommended. Service impeccable, great atmosphere...it has it all.
