thai Orchid is a haven for lovers of Thai cuisine seeking vegetarian delights. Together with 22 Anglo Thai Society colleagues, my wife and myself had lunch earlier today at the Thai Orchid Restaurant in Maidenhead which is fast becoming one of the Society’s favourite restaurants. The Sunday Buffet is an excellent spread and at £25 (recently increased from £22) represents excellent value for money. As such, bookings are not only essential but should be made well in advance. Another excellent event and one, I’m sure, we will be repeating in the not too distant future.
I have been coming here for many years, the food has always been very good and have never had a bad meal. I went on a Tuesday night, the restaurant soon became full. I opted for the special lamb shank panang on the table talker. It was the best meal I've ever had here. So much flavour with the sauce and the lamb shank was huge, perfectly cooked. Service as ever was exemplary.
A fantastic meal at the Thai Orchid on Saturday evening. We ordered two set menus and every dish was excellent, one of the best meals we have ever had. We have visited regularly over the years, but this was the first time for while. The service was excellent as usual, our thanks and appreciation to the all the staff. We will be back again soon !
