My friend and I were looking for somewhere in Miami Lakes with good sushi, and ended up deciding to try Thai Cafe. Despite it being a Thai restaurant, they had sushi on their menu so we gave them a try. We ordered 4 rolls Thai Cafe Roll, Dragons Roll which were both delicious. The Beauty and the Beast Roll which was half tuna, half eel and was very refreshing. Then we ordered the Volcano Roll which was surprisingly amazing! It's a mixed seafood Roll with masago and spicy mayo, and came with steaming hot seafood on top. I highly recommend trying them out for sushi if you're in the area. (We didn't eat any of their Thai dishes so I can't comment on those). Prices were reasonable too!
In the last two months, my daughter and I will eat at the Thai Café at least twice a week, a little expensive, but my daughter loved it. Tonight we ordered 2 JB ROLLS together with other things, but these JB ROLLS were tasting really strange - the rice was understated and not a very pleasant texture when you ate it. I told the waitress who told the cook who could be the owner, but no excuses from him and we didn't get the check full price on the reels. I asked the waitress about a discount on these terrible roles and she told us to wait and we waited a long time. Finally, a new check comes out and there is a $3 discount from a $55 check- NEVER AGAIN!
This place was around for a while and I don't know how he took me so long to check it out. This is one of the best Thai restaurants in miami its hidden gem I was just for lunch on weekdays, but its usual a relaxing squeeze place to relax and just enjoy your food. the dishes and servings are great and its only Thai restaurants that you sweat when you ask for thai hot?. Recommend the Tom kha thai hot!
Honestly a very charming little cafe. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a point to try almost any kind of food they had. You have beautiful lunch specialties when you try to be economical, and they also have a bit higher meals when this is your thing!
