Terrassenhof - Reservar uma mesa

My wife and me booked a extended weekend of 3 nights in this hotel and we were surprised, finding ourselfes in a spacious room - but with 2 seperate beds. Being married for more than 40 years it didn't matter too much, but we got explained that this would have been the type of accomodation. Anyway...we could change this situation by paying somewhat extra and moved for the next 2 days somewhere else in this hotel. Maybe it was the fault of the travel agent whowith we had booked this trip. Our complaint was treated very nicely i.e. with great understanding and friendleness.Each morning we were looking forward to a phantastic breakfast with big variety and quick and friendly staff. We didn't stay there for meals as we wanted to go to see other places, therefore we can't give a judgement in this respect.The stuff on the whole was very polite and friendly. One Lady I would like to mention by name because she was extremly efficient, helpful and just natural friendly. She obviously likes her job, likes people and has got a smile for everybody. A delight ...Frau Schüler !!

We booked an apartment 100m away from the main building. Really nice and spacious, though I was informed that NOONE would tidy up my room during the 5-day stay - that's what happens for those that rent appartments!!! Excellent breakfast and really friendly front-office staff, couldn't say the same though for the restaurant staff...

Lovely patio with a great view of the lake. The food was Okay but the service was so horrible that it detracted from our enjoyment. Even the cocktails were affected by it.

this hotel feels a bit rustic and the decor is not of my taste. in the same price range there are much better hotels around tegernsee.

The food was OK, restaurant very quite, nice and friendly staff, food Bavarian, good taste. old style furniture
