Teriyaki Express

I previously gave this place a great review as I ate here often. However I got takeoit with a co worker yesterday and the entire time my tempura chicken seemed slimy inside and I kept poking it thinking it was undercooked maybe and then after I ate it anyways, I spoke to my co worker who threw out his entire chicken teriyaki because he said the chicken tastes like it may have turned as it had an unwashed taste. Basically when the slime the chicken is sitting it. Goes bad before the meat does and it isn 't rinsed off. Either way it was the only thing I ate all day as I commonly only eat 1 meal a day and I woke up last night with terrible food poisoning. Now I never get sick and it 's a joke that I have an iron stomach. So for me to have fluids flowing outa each end and an internal burning and gurgling for the entire night and following day. That chicken must have had some foul bacteria my body was trying to flush. I 'm super dissatisfied as I previously really liked this place alot. But using bad chicken means someone pushed the limits for costs cutting and they knew the chicken probably wasn 't very good by the point that they used it. Really can 't come back here despite having always liked it and come here often. Had the chicken not seemed questionable while eating it, I likely woulda chalked this up to a stomach flu. But there is no way 2 people in seperate rooms had concerns over the chicken and the one that ate it got sick in a way I haven 't been in many years.

Driving by and decided I had a taste for some California Rolls. I placed an order for a roll but I couldn’t understand what the owner was saying on the phone. I get out of my vehicle and walk into Terriyaki Express. I place my order for California Rolls and the owner says, “You need to order more than $6.95. I said excuse me? He repeated himself by saying,”You need to spend more than $6.95.” I said you are right, “I am not spending a dime in this establishment.” As a business owner recovering the Pandemic every dollar counts. The owner of this establishment is not friendly, nasty, arrogant, and doesn’t want to stay in business.” I honestly wish I didn’t have to give this business a star because it’s definitely not worth a one star.

With the wide variety of different options to pick from, there's something for everyone. Food is always prepared quickly and always delicious. Have been a repeat customer for years and will continue to be.

The food did not taste fresh, it just wasn't good or worth the money. They are very nice in there and I really hoped thier food would be good. Unfortunately I will not be back.

Consistently great for many years, have been coming here for at least a decade. I love the chicken teriyaki so much and the sushi rolls are always good.
