Telesforo - Reservar uma mesa

I work with a company based in Pamplona and I 've developed a strong friendship with one of the guys in the company. He helped plan my holiday with my family in Spain and he recommended staying in Zarautz. He and I enjoy eating in good restaurants and he recommended 'Telesforo '. This is a great restaurant. It was extremely busy full of Spanish, which is the best sign in a Spanish restaurant. The service was great even though the resturant was packed. Yes the food is 'simple ' but amazingly fresh, well cooked and very tasty. It 's very much of the Basque cuisine. If you want complicated food, go and eat in a 3 star Michelin restaurant. If you want excellent food at a reasonable price you can eat here very well. My wife and I had the fish which was excellent and my boys had stake. My wife says that this was the best meal of our holidays. For me it was excellent too. We had the cheaper Verdejo wine which was excellent. This is a well priced restaurant too. Highly recommended.

We had a very good meal, actually 2, at this wonderful restaurant. On our second visit we had the sea bass for two, which was not only reasonable but incredibly delicious, along with the fresh salad. Do stay away from the filet, that was my mistake not to order fish the first time, but my partner's hake was very tasty. Good service, great wines, reasonably priced

Iosebe, is amazing! Taught us Basque words and then brought us an amazing grilled rape ...there are no words to describe the fish freshness! Amazing!

Really local food in local environment. No extravagant dining but the real local food. Sure to try this
