Taverne De La Tour

Its not like you are spoilt for choice of restaurants in this gorgeous little village, but with a restaurant like this one you really don't need much more! We stayed there for 3 nights and dined at this restaurant twice. I had the Perch which was deliciously cooked, and accompanied with very nice and crunchy veggies. It was so good- not only did i recommend to the people we were having dinner with. I had exactly the same the following night! My husband had meat dishes which were also very good. And the pizzas looked divine! Service was also great- very attentive and fast. Prices for Switzerland reasonable.

Life on the otherside of the lake 2015 .See my review in 2014. No change still on our list of places to eat. This time we came by car a mere 20 mins from Montreux. Still early summer here so not too busy. Yet again we were met by the owner Giovanni who provided us with a table on his outside terrace. Food half the price of Montreux. We will return. PS I have cycled and it took just under 1 hour.

We ended up there for the first time and really had a great lunch. Food was of very good quality and it was a lot in our plates. All was good except a group of very loudbpeople celebrating a birthday would have been nice to have them in a corner somewhere and not in the middle of the place. Also the waitress was very nice and professional. We will be back.

la Tour was an Oasis for all Cesar Ritz Students. Our university is just 5 min walk for the restaurant and they serve very good steak tartar. All in all its a nice place to sea if you are passing by Le Bouveret.

Great location and service and food is pretty good for the price. Beautiful view from terrace onto lake. Nice wine.
