Sushi Tachi - Reservar uma mesa

I've lived in Aliante since 2007 and today was my first visit to Sushi Tachi. It's a bit hidden away off of Simmons, but you can see the restaurant when your on Centennial. There is plenty of parking space in the front since it's in a strip mall.The restaurant was packed, but there is a 60 minute limit when your doing the all-you-can-eat option. We were a party of 3 and had to be placed on a wait list. We ended up waiting only 14 minutes and we were seated. You'll leave your phone number on the wait list and they'll simply call you.Their menu is pretty extensive. They have photos of their sushi on one menu and more extensive second menu with just words. It's fairly easy to follow.The sushi is fresh and delicious. It's not like other sushi restaurants where you wait extensive amount of time in-between orders. They are quick. The 4 waitresses constant work around the restaurant in order to ensure you are getting your orders in quickly. You don't feel rushed at all.I would highly recommend this establishment. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Warning! Their website says AYCE is $25 until 4:00pm and then $27. When we got there at 3:15 expecting to pay lunch prices, we were told that now it is $28 until 3:00 and $33 after! I mentioned the website price and they said that was from the old owner. False advertising! Decided to go ahead and eat there based on the 4.5 stars and we were totally disappointed. I tried 4 different rolls and didn't like any of them I have never had that happen before. My wife just got a Rainbow roll and she didn't care for that, either. Even the knife work was sloppy! The service was terrible I usually overtip and this time I actually undertipped, and I only did that to make sure they didn't think I was just somebody who forgot to tip. I guess the 4.5 stars is like the price from the old owner!

The food was astounding. This is across the board the best fish I've ever had. The cuts were generous, the rice well flavored... Every detail was attended and it was extraordinary.The 4 for service and atmosphere was because somehow we seem to have irritated a professional gentlemen who I think may have been the owner and the service and atmosphere got cooler and cooler over the course of our meal. Everyone stayed professional and again the meal was delicious, but by the end of the meal we were having wait staff avoid us, and I was getting dirty looks from other men around us.Unfortunately for the life of me I can't figure out what our misbehavior was. As good as the food is, I want to return in the future, and hopefully avoid whatever misbehavior resulted in our shunning.

I ordered a spicy tuna roll(deep fried for an extra dollar) and the 702 fried chicken roll. I was in the mood for crunch and I wasn't disappointed! Fresh! Delicious! The 702 was mixed perfectly with salty, sweet, and a hint of spice. In the past I ordered the 911 roll. Even as a lover of ultra spicy foods; this one roll.. actually made me sweat! Wow! Wonderful local place!

The all you can eat had a great selection...probably the best I've seen in a while. The service was excellent. The place was pretty packed, but our food came out quickly and the server was very friendly.I also liked that there wasn't TOO much rice on the nigiri. Some places seem to put extra when they're doing all you can eat.
