Surf City Sandwich

Most of the sandwich tasted great, but one bite had an unmistakable taste of mold, like blue cheese. I thought for sure that a speck of gorgonzola had found its way onto my sandwich, but I checked back over the menu and gorgonzola doesn't seem to be an ingredient... so I'm pretty sure some ingredient on my sandwich had spoiled a bit. Disappointing, because I wanted to like this place.

Been here twice now and they never disappoint! Great sandwiches and sides. You cannot go wrong with any of the selections from what I have experienced. Highly recommended for locals and tourists! Pictured here is their delicious Beer Barnacles appetizer. If you love tater tots, you will love these!

Ordered and enjoyed the classic hot pastrami on rye, very tasty came with chips, and a glass of water. Order came out fast and would highly recommend this spot if your in the Capitola area of Santa Cruz. Really nice Tattoo shop next door as well if your into that kind of thing.

Lunch is always delicious here, and I absolutely love the freshly made potato chips on the side. No need for inside dining when there is plenty of patio seating. My favorite is the Pork Belly Banh Mi!

Really excellent and interesting choices for sandwiches. And of course everyone loves the homemade potato chips. One of my favorite places for lunch.
