"Had a Saturday night family dinner there - it was terrific. Great food with lots of flavour, in a variety that suits kids and adults, and at a very reasonable price. The staff are welcoming and eager to please. This restaurant will really jump when the warm weather arrives and the huge covered outdoor area comes into play. Will re-visit soon."

We come to this newcomer to Sunshine because we couldn't get into any restaurants/cafes in the area we are from - Seddon and I'm glad we did.I am staying with my son and he had been here once before not long after it had opened and suggested we try it for our Mother's Day lunch. One of my sons is in a wheel chair and they made it so easy to get him in to have a meal and ALL of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We all ordered burgers and they were so good as was the Saganaki and chicken nuggets we had for starters. It was a low key lunch but we wanted to go somewhere that didn't up their prices just because it was Mothers Day but still somewhere that had good food. Couldn't have chosen anywhere better. If you are a parent with small children this place is so good for you and for them as well. They aren't told to sit down but can enjoy their time together with their siblings or other young children there at the time. Some of them brought their scooters, others their bikes and there was plenty of room for them to play without disturbing other diners. We think it has been so well set up to cater for everyone regardless of age. Would thoroughly recommend eating there for anyone.

Friends and I were super excited to try Sunshine Social after seeing it in Broadsheet and headed down there for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago. The venue looked good and while we pondered the menu we talked about how good it would be to come back in the warmer weather and sit outside. We ordered kabana and sweet pickles to start with and we were all a little disappointed when it arrived at the table to find it was cut up kabana with a spoon of store bought sweet pickles. I had the ribs, they were tender as they had been braised but they lacked flavour. Someone else had the lamb shoulder which unfortunately was very dry and our other friend had the charcoal chicken which was moist and tasty. We tried the couscous salad as well but it also lacked flavour and thought a smaller couscous would have worked better. Staff were friendly but were a little unsure of the menu and definitely need further training. We all thought most things missed the mark and we left a little disappointed.

we visited on a very cold day so were happy the gas heaters inside worked well. this place is a ex service station and still has a few momentos to remind you of that. The atmosphere was great I can see the out side would be awesome in the summer.we tried the slow cooked pork ribs and Moroccan lamb absolutely amazing the meat of the ribs melted off the bone. The only bad thing I found was I am brought up from new Zealand where meat and 3 veg is standard and expected, meat and one choice of a side doesn't cut it. for slightly more price at another Melbourne restaurant you get your slow cooked steak grilled at end to your choice plus 3 veg. The staff were fantastic and made us feel welcome with water to the table while we were deciding weather to stay or not looking at menu.I will go back even if for takeaway my partner Asian and only fault she could find was no rice even plain boiled.

The restaurant is really easy to find only 30 minutes west from the CBD.When pulling up to the restaurant at night it is well really catches your eye. Parking is located on both sides of the restaurant and free Menu is well priced with good portions to match. Prices range between $3.50 to $30. Staff friendly and are helpful with people with food intolerance Will come back
