We were looking for a place to have a late lunch while walking through Oppenheim. The Goldne Krone Restaurant appeared to be open, they had, what looked like a nice menu with daily specials, so we walked up the patio. We were asked if we...needed help. On asking if we could have a late lunch, the person told us that his kitchen is closed and that we should try the coffee shop across the town square. Seemed like he does not need business. So, we gave our business to the very happy coffee shop owner across.....

Have visited this restaurant many times in the last years and have always been satisfied. The service is friendly and competent. Food good and reasonably priced. Like any restaurant it has opening times and closing times and these are displayed. It is also a...hotel which must remain accessible to guests so although the hotel is open, the restaurant is sometimes closed.

During a visit to Oppinheim to see the caves and the church stopped in for a late lunch adults and kids. Service was excellent with extra help for the kids. A round of drinks for all them pizza,lasagna,spaghetti and a calzone. On the...patio overlooking the town square where they were preparing for the weekend wine fest. Very pleasant lunch

We went there on several occasions.... always treated right... awesome food and good atmosphere. The patio, if you can get a table, is a bonus. If traveling in Germany keep in mind their opening hours are different than in North America.

The food is of good quality, I did have to send soup back as it was not hot enough. Very convenient to our hotel, we ate there nights.
