Six of us visited this restaurant last Saturday night. They placed crudites on the table None of this had been ordered by us, we presumed it was complimentary. We proceeded to order our meal and drinks. Whilst waiting our guests picked at the crudite, one of the ladies suddenly said that one was so hot, it was a tiny yellow chilly disguising itself as a piece of pepper. To which the gentleman ate the rest saying is it really that hot. He is very used to eating hot chillies. They both started complaining of pains in there stomach and feeling very unwell. The gentleman then keeled over and we thought he was dead. He was unconscious for a few minutes. Two doctors who were guests came running and someone called an ambulance. He was sweating profusely. The lady was shaking uncontrollably and could not stop. They were both taken to the ambulance who said it was the symptom of eating the hottest chilly in the world (we checked this online) During this whole time the staff were unconcerned and said we were making a fuss as people ate them all the time. The paramedics thought very differently. When they could stand again they told us we had to pay the whole bill for all the food ordered and not received. when this happened we immediately told them to cancel the order. We said we would pay for all the drinks and the two soups delivered but nothing else. They said we will call the police, we said go ahead. They accepted our offer. Nothing of how are your guests, not a word to them.
